Saluda Medical Center Fees

For insured patients
We accept most commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Co-payments and deductibles are set by individual insurance plans.
For uninsured patients and patients without steady income
Based upon a sliding fee scale which takes into consideration income and number of household residents, patients who cannot afford to pay for the full cost of services pay a reduced fee, their “co-payment.” The co-payment scale ranges from five to twenty dollars in five-dollar increments. Funds provided by the NC Office of Rural Health pay for the remainder of the customary charge.
Services which MAP patients receive for the reduced fee include office visits and minor surgical procedures (the most frequent medical treatments provided at the Center) plus lab work at a discounted rate. No-cost medication is available for qualifying individuals.
